It is such an honor to be included in Suzi Wong's book! I keep reading the stories of other women who have also received the JRF scholarships---what a compelling collection of empowering, encouraging and inspiring heart warming stories! It doesn't seem possible to meet all my "Sister Scholars" in person----but I would love to 'share' our current lives and 'where' we all are now having finished our degrees, triumphed over our collective financial chaos and emotional despair and Re-Created ourselves in a new realm! None of us will ever again be those ladies lacking our sense of Self---but, rather we will continue to thrive in our new identities, with our new commitments to our communities, and a new Energy in our Souls! I honor all of you ladies for your perseverance & dedication to your children and most importantly----for Yourselves Thank you Suzi for 'bringing us all to life'---to Sue Lawrence & Andrea Anderson for their ever constant support in this project...and in all our individual lives. I am so very proud to be a part of the Jeanette Rankin Foundation. Namaste Suz

during the past 18 months I have been using copies of "Dare to Dteam" as a means to Encourage....Empower ... And Inspire attendees of the Texas Workforce Commission un-employment seminars. As a means of giving back Hope & Stimulation to these BabyBoomer workers---- I have discovered that by handing copies of Dare to Dream to the participants--many women have later come back to me and said..." these stories make me believe that I can start over and learn something new to support my family". I am delighted to see a sale on the books so that I can order another box to donate! With all the effort, time, compassion and comittment that both Suzi Wong and Sue Lawrence spent to complete this book--- I wish the blog had more enteries ( other than my own) and the book itself had increased promotion In the newly developed newsletter. So Bently---- please reserve 15 more copies for me......monies to follow! Hugs to all JRF staff Suz Jackson. '98 scholar time and commitment that both Suzi Wong & Sue Lawrence
