High Hat Tea '10: good friends, tasty food and a great time!
Posted on Apr 23, 2010 by JRF
This year’s High Hat Tea had JRF’s highest attendance record yet for this event! The turn out as well as all of the generous donations received for the JRF scholarship fund could not be more pleasing!
Keeping with tradition, JRF invited guests to wear a hat of their choosing. Unlike previous years, however, a hat parade was held to award those guests with the most creative head pieces. Four judges were chosen, and throughout the event, walked around handing various guests an invitation to walk in the parade. At it’s conclusion, the six best hats were awarded with a pound of freshly ground, Jittery Joe’s coffee.
And the winners were…
Janice Emery for Smallest Hat
Russell Edwards for Tallest Hat
Pat Holmes for Best Vintage Hat
The Nairn Family for Most Coordinated Family
Josh Glasser for Most Daring Hat
BB Webb for Most Imaginative Hat
Once again, JRF would like to thank all of those who attended, and invite anyone who did not get the chance this year to attend next year’s High Hat Tea!
For those of you who did attend, JRF invites you to fill out the survey below to help make next year’s event even better!
