A pacifist, but not an isolationist, Jeannette Rankin championed peaceful solutions to world problems throughout her controversial life. Dr. Joan Hoff, distinguished Research Professor of History at Montana State University, will trace the origin and development of Rankin’s pacifistic principles and lead a discussion of their application to today’s global conflicts.
