JRF Friend Appointed by Obama to Federal Court

JRF would like to congratulate Judge Steve Jones on being nominated by President Obama to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Jones has served the Athens courts for 15 years and works to eradicate poverty in and around the area.
Jones is active in the community with Jeannette Rankin Women’s Scholarship Fund and many other service organizations. We are proud of his accomplishments and know he will bring wisdom and compassion to his position on the Federal Court. Congratulations!
At JRF’s annual dinner this year, Judge Steve Jones will be the Master of Ceremonies.
