JRF Executive Director Sue Lawrence will be participating in a notable Women’s History Month activity at the Clarke-County Public Library. On Tuesday, March 29 Sue will speak about Jeannette Rankin and her advocacy for women’s rights. The program, “The phonebook refugee: Jeannette Rankin incites a mob”, starts at 12:15 in the Small Conference Room and will last approximately 45 minutes. Please bring your lunch and hear about how JRF is continuing the legacy of Jeannette Rankin by awarding scholarships to help women succeed through education.
