Hats off to the High Hat Winners

2011 High Hat Party
It was hats galore this past Sunday April 17th, at the annual High Hat Party. The winners of the hat contest were chosen after a hat parade where the judges’ decisions came as no easy task. After considerable deliberation the winners were decided: “the recycler”, BB, Delores and Erin with her paper made hat.
The program also included a silent and live auction as well as the story of a very dedicated JRF scholar, Sylvia. Sylvia’s hard work and incredibly positive attitude were recognized with a scholarship donated in her honor. The new scholarship will be awarded to a deserving scholar this upcoming school year.
