JRF welcomes first Development Director
Feb 6, 2012 by JRF
JRF is excited to introduce our first Development Director, Pat Reagan! As Development Director, Pat will help create opportunities for more women by increasing funding and financial support for JRF.
Pat’s dedication to improving the lives of women is not the only reason she was interested in working with JRF, the Fund’s namesake, Jeannette Rankin, has been a longtime “Shero.” In fact, Pat wrote a paper about her in college and even worked in politics promoting female candidates. Pat said, “Jeannette Rankin is someone I have always admired and was impressed that her legacy could live on through this organization.”
Another woman who has had a significant impact on Pat’s success is her mother. “I was raised by a single mother who stressed the importance of education to me – to her, education was the key to freedom, hope and opportunity,” Pat said.
In addition to working at JRF, Pat enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, inventing new things in the kitchen and travelling.
Pat looks forward to positively impacting JRF and learning more about the inspiring scholars. You can read her bio here.
