Mobilizing Women for a Better Future

The Dinner is a great opportunity to meet-up with friends, mingle with the best of Athens and empower low-income women. This year, the Dinner will be at Tate II on the University of Georgia’s campus. The speaker is Brigadier General Maria Britt, the first woman to earn that rank in the Georgia National Guard’s history. We will of course have an inspiring scholar speaker, Bonnie Marcus, and Steve Jones will be the Master of Ceremonies.

We have a great selection of silent auction items for you to bid on this year. There are amazing trips like a stay at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth in Montreal to golfing in Monterey to a fabulous two-night stay in Atlanta including the ballet and dinner and finishing off with an adventure excursion (caving, kayaking, white water rafting or bungee jumping). For those who enjoy having beautiful pieces of art, a Jim StipeMaas painting will be available along with a gorgeous, hand-carved wooden bowl. Pictures are coming soon!

So, bring a friend or several and come enjoy JRF’s Annual Dinner. The theme is “Mobilizing Women for a Better Future,” and that’s exactly what your support does. We hope to see you there.

Tickets are $65 per person or $500 for a table of 8. Parking in the Tate deck and all beverages included.
