1. Other Scholarships for Women
AARP Foundation Women's Scholarship Program
This program is for women ages 40 and over. Special consideration is given to women who are returning to the workforce after an extended absence, women who are in jobs with insufficient pay, or women with significant financial responsibility for one or more grandchildren.
AAUW American Fellowships
These fellowships support women doctoral candidates completing dissertations or scholars seeking funds for postdoctoral research.
American Indian Graduate Center
The American Indian Graduate Center offers fellowships and loans for service to American Indian and Alaska Native undergraduate and graduate students.
Association for Women in Science
AWIS offers several awards for graduate students in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Displaced Homemaker Scholarship
The Association on American Indian Affairs offers $1500 scholarships to men and women who would not otherwise be able to complete their educational goals due to family responsibilities. Funds may be used for childcare, transportation and basic living expenses in addition to educational costs.
Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting
The EFWA’s Women in Transition Scholarships and Women in Need Scholarships are for women who are pursuing degrees in accounting at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship
Open to women who are Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field majors. Students must be entering their senior year of undergraduate study or be enrolled in a graduate program.
HORIZONS Foundation Scholarship Program
This program was established to encourage women to pursue careers related to national security and defense of the United States, such as Security Studies, Military History, Law, International Relations, Political Science, etc. It does not include Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice.
Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarships
Students must be nominated by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Faculty Representative at their two year institution to apply for this award. Students may not apply directly to the foundation. Through the annual Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program, the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation provides scholarships worth up to $30,000 per year to community college students & recent alumni to help them earn a four-year degree.
Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships
This scholarship, sponsored by Zonta International, is open to women in their third or fourth year of an undergraduate business program.
National Leased Housing Assoc. Education Fund
Scholarships are awarded to residents of federally assisted low-income housing properties or recipients of Section 8 voucher assistance that demonstrate both merit and need.
National Pathfinder Scholarship
Support provided by National Federation of Republican Women for undergraduate sophomore, juniors and seniors, as well as students enrolled in a master’s degree program.
NAWIC Founders' Scholarship Foundation
Scholarships for women enrolled full-time in a construction-related degree program, such as Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.
Opportunity Scholarships for Lutheran Laywomen
Assistance for women who hold membership in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Applicants must be U.S. citizens studying for a career other than the ordained ministry, at least 21 years old, and have experienced an interruption in education of two or more years since high school.
Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Foundation
Gives educational support awards and small scholarships to low-income women, especially mothers, pursuing technical, undergraduate or graduate education.
Society of Women Engineers Scholarships
Financial assistance is awarded to women admitted to accredited baccalaureate or graduate programs, in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science.
Talbots Women's Scholarship Fund
Scholarships are based primarily on financial need and previous achievement for women who earned their high school diploma or GED at least 10 years ago.
Women's Forum, Inc.
The Women’s Forum Education Fund awards scholarships to women over age 35 living in New York City who are pursuing an undergraduate education.
Women's Independence Scholarship Program
Funds for survivors of partner abuse who are in school to achieve the financial stability necessary for independence and self-sufficiency.
Women's Opportunity Awards
Eligible applicants must be women who provide the primary financial support for their families, and who are enrolled in or have been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program.

America Saves
America Saves is a nationwide campaign to help individuals and families save and build wealth. Through information, advice, and encouragement, the program assists those who wish to pay down debt, build an emergency fund, save for a home, save for an education, or save for retirement. Joining the program is free. Just sign up online to get information about different types of savings accounts, a subscription to the American Saver newsletter, and free advice by phone or e-mail from financial planners.

Choose to Save is a national public education and outreach program that is dedicated to raising awareness about the need to plan and save for long-term personal financial security.
