Patricia Garcia
Having experienced a childhood of violence and anger and a marriage that mirrored her childhood, Patricia Garcia was determined to overcome her past. Citing her three children as her inspiration she sought out to pursue a higher education. As she reveals her motivations for learning she writes _“I have lived my life getting help from others and for a change I want to be able to give something back. This is why I want to earn an education.”_ Patricia is studying Earth Science with an emphasis in environmental management and hydrology.
